About PROUD

A first of its kind, PROUD Experiences brings together leaders from the travel & lifestyle sectors to develop business strategies, expand LGBTQ+ understanding and connect with like-minded peers.

Launched in London in 2018 and established in New York, PROUD Experiences became an open space for debate, discussion and joint action. Agents, brands, designers, experiences, press and speakers joined us throughout the years in a show of a different kind – a show connecting travel & lifestyles professionals looking to embrace and elevate the LGBTQ+ community.

New for 2025, PROUD Experiences will join forces with ILTM North America in Baha Mar, Bahamas. As the kick-off conference for ILTM North America, PROUD will extend the conversation on inclusivity and representation within the luxury travel sector. Together, PROUD and ILTM North America will offer a unique platform for luxury travel professionals to engage with the most current issues around diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The PROUD Experiences conference will take place on Monday, 6 October 2025, prior to the opening of ILTM North America. Exhibitors and North American buyers attending PROUD will be invited to participate in ILTM North America, running from 6–10 October 2025 at Baha Mar, Bahamas.

Where are we?

Fairmont Century Plaza is our new home in LA. Los Angeles’ luxury landmark, where business meets Hollywood, is a place of distinctive neighbourhood identities. 

It is located at the core of the city, within walking distance to chic boutiques in the Westside’s most walkable neighbourhood.

Decarbonising the events industry, together

At RX, we are serious about sustainability. We are founding members of the Net Zero Carbon Events pledge to make our company, our shows and the wider events industry net zero. We commit to being Net Zero by 2040 and to make a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

In 2023 we will publish our pathway to net zero, setting out our reduction strategy with key milestones for all our shows. Given the complex nature of our supply chain and the emissions associated with a show, it is only by working together as an industry that we will be able to reduce our impact. We are building a company of net zero heroes to take action and ensure a sustainable future
