PROUD Experiences 2020 Postponed

18 March 2020

Reed Travel Exhibitions has confirmed that it has postponed its LGBTQ-focused travel show, PROUD Experiences, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) escalation. Remaining at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, the event will now take place on 4 – 6 November 2020.

In a statement released today, Simon Mayle, PROUD Experiences Event Director, said:

“We have been monitoring the escalation of COVID-19 daily and have had to respond to the latest developments. We hoped to celebrate our third edition in NYC this June, as I am sure you did too. However, we are now in unprecedented times and cannot risk the welfare of our number one priority, our customers. Following ongoing conversations with our community and stakeholders, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the show until 4 – 6 November 2020. Our thoughts continue to be with all those affected in these difficult times.

“We also recognize that while face-to-face meetings might be on hold for the time being, business has to continue. So, over the coming months, we will be creating ways to keep our PROUD community supported and connected before we meet this November.” Mayle added.
